On the fifth anniversary there's an anniversary gift year. The traditional says you should get something wood and the modern says you should get silverware. Well I think you can't go wrong with either one of those because by the time you are in the fifth year of your marriage you are ready to make the house look a little bit nicer or you are ready to get the extra things for your home. Well with the wood get some new furniture, nice solid wood furniture. Go to a nice store and pick out what do I exactly need for this house to make it look nice and you can get a nice armoire but you can also get a nice set of silverware. Silverware is used every single day so don't go cheap on the everyday silverware, you might already have your sterling which is great but go with the everyday silverware and get a nice set.
