"So it's your 12th anniversary. And you're not quite sure, what type of gift to get. My name is Blake Kennedy. And I'm at Kennedy Brothers Estate Services. On an anniversary gift year, there's different gifts. The traditional list says, you get something silky. The modern list, says you should get pearls. I'm going to go with pearls. You can't go wrong with pearls. Because most women like them but they don't have them. They often think that they're old fashioned. That somebody, not quite sure how to buy pearls. Well, the first thing you want to do is. Make sure you look at the pearls. And some people you'll see them. And they'll rub them up against their teeth. If you feel the grittiness of that pearl, it's a true pearl. Where it was cultured. You want to find out, if it's a white pearl or a black pearl. But you also want to check out the length. To make sure that it's going to look right on the person that you're giving it for. Because they'll long strands or short strands. And this one has a fourteen carat gold clasp on it. You also want to see and make sure that the ties are really good. Because if you're buying any antique set of pearls. You want to make sure that the strings aren't rotten in there. And everything is nicely put together. But you can't go wrong in getting a nice set of pearls for an anniversary present. My name is Blake Kennedy. Happy Anniversary!"
