"Hi, I'm Tristan McCauley from Lucky Seven Tattoo, I'm here to talk to you a little bit about kissing with tongue piercings. First things first, you're going to want to wait for the swelling to go down before you try to kiss. Usually, it takes three to four days for it to just go down a little bit, initially, the swelling goes, usually, about twice the size of your original tongue size. So, after three to four days the swelling will subside a little bit, after seven or eight it will be done completely. After then you're, pretty much, safe to kiss with it. You want to be a little careful with any kind of rough tongue but it can irritate the piercing. Swapping saliva will bring in foreign bacteria so you're going to wait until it's pretty much healed before you're into anything crazy. Even after it's healed you want to be really careful because you can chip your teeth or your partners teeth, either one is not fun, just be very careful, your dentist will be very upset with you. These are just a few of the things that you should look out for when you're kissing with a tongue ring."
