"Letters of recommendation, in a lot of cases, will determine whether someone gets a job or not. I'm Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida giving you some tips and techniques on how to write a letter of recommendation. Think about this; at any particular time most of us will need a letter of recommendation. I highly recommend that you write one for yourself. It makes it much easier when you've asked an individual to write one for you. So you're writing this letter. What do you want to make sure you include? You want to make sure you include your name. You also want to make sure that you include what position, or what you're being recommended for. You also want to give a brief detail or description about yourself; a little bit about something that you've done that relates to the position. You also will highlight any achievements, awards, certifications that you might have. And lastly, you always want to conclude with "I highly recommend John for this particular person." Today with computers, we can have numerous recommendation letters; we can change them with just a drop of a hat, so I recommend that you write some and have them on file. I'm Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida giving you some ideas on how to write a recommendation letter."
