Managers are to accomplish tasks by motivating other people. There are several things that you can do to be an effective manager. You must first be willing to share power. To have open and honest two way communication. You must also be willing to provide feedback. Negative or positive, in terms of an individual's performance. The other thing you want to do, to make sure that you're an effective manager. Is make sure that you're being fair. That you are not showing favoritism. That basically, you want your employees to know that you're there. To help them accomplish their goals and their tasks. Also provide training for them. Find out, where it is they want to go and what they want to do within the company. And let them know, that you are there to support them. If you want to be supportive, support your employees. Create an environment, where they can motivate themselves. I'm Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in St Petersburg, Florida. Effective managers are good motivators.
