"My name's Franc Anderson and I'd like to talk to you about how to improve your photo techniques. Lets deal with indoors first, generally speaking, you're going to have to use flash or fill in flash, so make sure the flash is turned on. Camera like this, you can do it yourself, like so, with a camera like this you will have to set the fill in or flash function. When you make flash photographs indoors, you have to be very careful that behind the subject there are no mirrors or windows and if there are, you will have to take the camera off to one side and not photograph it exactly head on. Outdoors, the rule is to keep the sun behind your subject, not behind the camera and, again, make sure that the fill in function is turned on. Very often it's a good idea to recompose the picture and you can do this with most cameras by half depressing the button and the camera will focus and then, with your finger on the button, you can recompose the photograph as you wish. Finally, try to make sure that when you do compose the picture that you don't have an interesting tree growing over the top of your head or a sign, which is poking out the side of your head. So, look at all the frame very carefully."
