"Yes, Larry, we can make that happen, but right now I need to call South Vietnam, okay, goodbye. Hi everyone, my name is Russ Handler and did you know, that when dialing an international phone number from the United States, there's actual four separate numbers you need to keep in mind. That's right, let's say for instance you want to dial South of Vietnam, well here's how that is done, first of all you'll need to dial zero one one, that's the international code or rather the national code to get out of the United States and hook up with either a satellite or a transcontinental submarine cable. Then there's eight four, in this case that is the country code for South Vietnam, there's then a city code, let's say we're calling Ho Chi Minh City, that city code is eight, and then you need to dial a phone number. Lots to know as far as numbers are concerned, so be careful when you're writing them down. Let's dial South Vietnam. Zero one one gets us out of our country, eight four gets us into South of Vietnam, city code in this case we're going to dial Ho Chi Minh, that will be eight and then of course the number. Five five five six three two one. Keep in mind South Vietnam does lack behind or rather lag behind some of their more modern neighbors in their infrastructure, so when you dial, be patient, and allow a few extra minutes for that call to go through.
