"Hello everyone, I'm Russ Handler, and I just love to travel. I'm sure you do too. You know, traveling during the holidays; it's the busiest time of the year. We all know that. I want to give you some tips on how to do it stress-free. First of all, when you're traveling during a busy holiday weekend or a event weekend in a particular city a couple of things you need to keep in mind. First of all, prepare for delays. Long in advance have an action plan and a backup plan in place. Secondly, book far in advance. Know your itinerary well in advance, and know where you are likely to have certain delays, whether by train, whether by aircraft, or whether by sea; there's always likely to be some delays during the holiday and busier seasons. A backup plan I want to re-emphasize, because this is going to make you feel a lot better about yourself when you get to a city and find that you're snowed in. If you think there's going to be snow in Denver and you're, you have a connection out of there; you might not make it in, you might not make it out, so keep that in mind and have a comfortable backup plan that you and your family can work with. Always have snacks, books, and other items to help you and your family cope with potential delays and the stress of holiday travel. It can be very stressful, but it you keep your cool and you have a backup plan, and know what you're going to do in advance you'll survive it a lot better. I'm Russ Handler, and that's how you do it."
