"Hello everyone I'm Russ Handler and I just love to travel. But you know what, I hate jet lag and adjusting to new time zones. There's a few things that you could do that I want to share with you today that will help you out in your quest to avoid the doldrums of jet lag. First of all, did you know that it can be avoided almost entirely by drinking a lot of water. I mean almost entirely, stay hydrated during your flight. Jet lag, not a good thing and recovering to new time zones means you have to do a couple of things. Set your watch the moment you get on the plane for your new destination. In other words, if it gets six hours in advance, go ahead and set that so that you can mentally adjust on your watch. Another thing, stay hydrated. As I mentioned, if you stay hydrated, you're going to be having a much better chance of retaining nutrients in your body as well as vitamins and minerals. Those planes are really, really areas that will dehydrate the body. Therefore, avoid alcoholic beverages and caffeine. Avoid salty snacks like nuts and I'm going to suggest that you try to sleep as much as possible on the plane, depending on the time you arrive in your new destination. Eat vitamins and stay healthy and you'll overcome that jet lag within a few days. I'm Russ Handler and that's how you do it."
