That's right. That's absolutely tax-free. Because it's considered an international point of commerce, there's no one to properly tax. Here's the best way to buy duty-free. While on your flight, or your cruise, or in your port of call or anywhere else, duty-free might be available, watch for a couple of things. Such as ceilings. In America, for instance, you are subject to an eight hundred dollar limit on your purchases in some cases. Other cities and other municipalities, other portions of the country, cruise lines and ports of call and international airports, all different limits.
