"Hi, my name's Tod Amazeen. I've been an Internet business consultant for 15 years. I'm going to show you how to calculate percentages with Google. First, be sure to navigate to the Google website. You can do that by typing www.google.com in your Web browser. And the example I'm going to show you today will calculate eight percent of 100. So click on the text entry box, then type the number eight and percentage sign, the word of, and the number 100. And then click on Google search, and you'll see the first result is eight percent of 100, and the answer is, of course, eight. You can also, instead of entering the percentage sign and the number 100, you can use plain English. So I'm going to select and then delete eight percent of 100 and retype it as the word eight, the word percent, of one hundred, and hit search. And you'll see, once again, Google displays the answer. Eight percent of 100 equals eight. You've just learned how to calculate percentages in Google. I'm Tod Amazeen."
