"Comic conventions are a great way to expose your comic to potential new readers. There are several comic cons held throughout the year in major cities throughout the world, and they are attended by some of the biggest comic, comic publishers all the way down to the smallest ones. A lot of the small press guys and artist they will get tables in what's called Artist Alley and like the name would apply, it's rows of tables lined up where these guys set up their work, their comic books, their art work, their prints, promotional items, whatever; set them up to not only sell product but to get instant feedback from potential readers, and that's the great thing about it is getting that instant feedback. You can find out what's working with your comic book, what's not working because comic fans they like to voice their opinion, they like to be heard, they like to let you know whether they like your product, and sadly they like to let you know what they don't like about it, but these comic cons, they're held throughout the year. Some of the biggest ones are the San Diego Comic Con. There's the New York Comic Con. Wizard World; they'll hold four different comic cons throughout the year in places like Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles and Texas. So, if you have your own comic book, whether you're with a publisher or if you're self publishing, this where you need to be. You need to get your work out to, to these potential readers."
