"Fayetteville Street is a street in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. It is a north-south road that starts with the state capital and ends with the Raleigh convention center. The Fayetteville Street District, one of downtown Raleigh's five, encompasses the street and the two parallel to it on either side. In 2008, the Fayetteville Street Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Many businesses call this district home, and the tallest buildings in Raleigh can be found on this street. The day time is when this street is at its busiest, but it also has a nightlife, with several restaurants on either side of the road."
