"You want to be famous. You want to get that job as the star of a TV show. You want to get a job as a star in a TV commercial. How do you dress for an audition? Well, I'm Joe Pauly. I've got about twenty years of experience, in the TV and entertainment field, and I'm going to try and help you out. Is there a magic word I can tell you, or a line that I can say, if you wear this all of the time, you're going to get the audition? No. My first rule though, is find out as much as you possibly can about what the audition is for. If you know it's going to be a period thing, give that some thought. If you know it's going to be shot outside on the beach, give that some thought. If you know it's an office setting, that's some thought for you, too. What do I mean by thought is? Well, if it's an office setting, don't go in there dressed in flip flops and a thong bathing suit. We want you to think of what the part is, so when you go in for the audition, you know what it's going to be for. Bring certain costumes that accentuate. Bring outfits that you can move in, and fit in, that look good on you, that are good colors for you. Again fit, dress for the part. You don't want to dress for the wrong thing, so what is the rule of thumb? Dress for it, find out what it's about. Bring several different options for the person to choose from. That's how you can dress for success, and hopefully, nail that audition. Good luck for you, oh yeah, and don't wear your costume to the audition. Bring it and change there. Good luck. My name is Joe Pauly."
