"This is Rachel, with Nutrolution, in Miami Beach, Florida. In this clip, we're taking about how you can get more magnesium in your diet. And you might ask yourself well, why do I need magnesium, and why is it even something that I'm even talking about right now. The reason is that magnesium is one of the most critical nutrients, one of the most critical mimeral, minerals that we need in our systems to take care of things like relaxation of our muscles, brain function, metabolism, and much, much more really. And one of the things that's happening nationwide and worldwide is a depletion of the minerals, including magnesium, from our soil. Not only that, but as our stress levels go up we use more magnesium, and therefore we need to ingest extra magnesium to offset some of the stress, and environmental and also mental stressors that we face. So, some of my favorite ways to encourage people to get more magnesium are to number one, increase your nut consumption. Nuts are filled with all types of minerals, and they are just a little seed of all the different minerals of life, so nuts, nut butter. Another thing that I recommend is actually to take a magnesium supplement such as this one, and this is magnesium glycinate, which is very highly absorbable. There's many more ways to get more magnesium, and I'd love to share them with you, but for now, this has been Rachel, with Nutrolution, in Miami Beach, Florida."
