"Collections is a growing field in today's professional world. I am here today to offer you some tips on how to hire a collections representative. When hiring a collections representative there are a few things that you should consider. You should hire someone who is comfortable being on the phone. A good collections agent is on the phone 70 to 100% of their day. You want to make sure that they are able to perform skip tracing and whether they are working on a dialer or making those calls manually that they are consistently consistently calling. You want to make sure that a collections agent has a thick skin and is able to handle the caller on the other side of the call but also work with the agent and be able to negotiate whether it be a payment arrangement, whether it be a payment that day or even a post dated check over the phone. You want to make sure that as a collections agent you are always closing and always collecting. A one call resolve is great but in today's economy that is something that is not always possible. You want to make sure to stay on top of your assigned accounts and make sure that you manage them appropriately. I hope these are helpful tips when looking for a collections agent. Thanks. My name is Kelly and have a great day."
