"Are you looking to write and format a new resume? My name is Kelly, and I'm here to offer you some helpful tips for writing a new resume. There really is no right or wrong, but there is some great etiquette to follow while you're writing a resume. You should always have your name and contact information on the top. You want to be able for an employer to reach you so that they can bring you in for an interview if they choose. Next should be an objective statement. An objective statement should be very specific, if you have a specific position that you're looking to obtain, or it should be broad if you're not sure what you're looking for. A great example of that for a specific statement would be, I want to be a graphic designer, so I'm going to put, seeking a position as a graphic design artist for my objective statement. If I'm not sure about my objective, then I'm going to put, I'm looking for a professional opportunity in a growing organization, it's a little more general, and I can be considered for a wider range of opportunities. Your work history is next. When listing your work history, you want to always include your company name, the city and state it's located, and the dates of employment, with the month and the year. List your work experience with anything starting from, goals, things that you've accomplished, or duties that you had in that position. You want to list your most recent experience first, and work backwards down your resume. If you have any gaps of employment, make sure that you list that gap of employment on your resume, so it doesn't look like that you were unemployed for a certain length of time, without something else going on. If you'd like to list your references, you can do that, you can put, references available upon request at the bottom, and be ready to provide them if they're asked for, or you can list a few references. I usually give professional references, personal reference usually is always going to say something great about you, so I list past employers or supervisors. Again, when writing a resume, things to consider would be to have your name and contact information, a strong objective statement, and all your work history, with your goals, achievements and accomplishments, as well as duties performed. My name is Kelly, and I hope that I've offered you some great, great tools for reformatting your resume. Thanks."
