"Hi folks in this clip I'm going to teach you how to draw a hermit crab. Alright, so the first thing I would do is I would come in here and I'm going to draw some little eyes for this guy. Now hermit crabs are not easy creatures to draw, but instinct of imagination. First it helps to know what they look like. Now I am not a Marine Biologist but I have seen occasional hermit crab in my day so, what I'm drawing here are two little eyes form. And what I'll do now is build our fat facts. Since we're going to be drawing, what I assume is going to be a cartoon hermit crab, we'll come in here, we'll give them a little head and mouth, kind of like this. I'm just going to put kind of like, this will be his head essentially. Now, what we'll do is we're going to give them a little bit of a body, back part of the body and he's going to be obviously sitting inside the shell. So one thing is he's going to have little crab legs coming down. And crab legs, if anyone's, you know, I'm sure many of you have seen what crab legs look like. They look like they come in chunks. So when you draw this guy's legs, kind of make them draw like appear to be in little pieces, if that make sense. Kind of make them come out like that, that'll be one side. And then since we're going to be drawing in facing kind of this way, we're going to draw, maybe we'll add as many legs on the other side just because we don't want to distract people from the finger we're going to put right in here which should be the most important part, the claws. Come in here and give this guy some nice pincher claws, just like that. See, they almost look like little hands 'cause again, this is the cartoon world, not on the certain real world. See, they're kind of look boxing gloves that's because we wanted to make them look more cartoon-like. Now what we'll do is we're going to give them the shell that he's actually in, that's one of the defining hermit crab characteristic. They have very unusual shells. Now through the legs, we wouldn't worry too much for the details, but when we come out to the side, come out here, that's when the shell really begins to take shape. And what it looks like is one of those, obviously, we see them all the time. It's kind of shell you pick up at the beach that you can hear the ocean in supposedly. And they live inside them. So see how his little body is going to be in there now. We're going to come up here, we're going to draw the top portion of the shell, kind of coming up and around and down, give a shot. This will be the inner portion of the shell and we'll kind of maybe draw a little bit of black in there so people know that's the inside of the shell. On the outside, you can maybe come down here and give it a bit of a swirled design coming all the way up to the edge there, maybe fill in a little detail on the side and once you have that, you want to add a little bit of color, that's fine. But essentially this point you got yourself your nice little hermit crab. So, stay with them and give it a whirl."
