"Now, we're going to introduce all the open strings on the violin. There are four strings. We have G, which is the deepest sound, and the lowest string on the violin. We have D, which is one of the middle strings on the violin. We have A, another one of the middle strings on the violin, and E, our farthest string to the right, which is the highest string on the violin. Let's play them now. This is E, the highest string on the violin, and also the furthest to the right. You see no fingerings, just open. All you have to play is the string. Then we have A. That's an open A. Now we have D, another one of the middle strings, and last, but not least, we have G, our lowest string on the violin, also furthest to our left."
