Look up in the sky, it's one of the most famous super heroes of them all, Superman, who we're going to be drawing next. Like Ghost Rider and like Spiderman we're going start off by doing a central core concept drawing which is basically getting the main shape of Superman that we're drawing here down on our paper. I always like to start off with the head. It may not be the easiest, not all artists do that but for me it's what is the easiest and what works most. So our Superman is going to be very interesting. We're not going to have the whole body on the page, rather it's going to be come flying over here and we're going to see his arm coming down here, kind of with his fist as he's flying throughout the air. So that means his main torso is going to be most of what we see down to right about the mid section, where then he'll fly off the page. Don't think that on your drawings you have to make sure that the entire body is on the page. No, sometimes for a dramatic effect like motion, like here Superman's flying on to the page, you won't necessarily see the whole enchilada of the super hero. So definitely keep that in mind. And now in addition to drawing the core body, we can also draw in this a couple other indications of other shapes that are going to be a big part of the drawing. And in this drawing the other big shape which is going to be very important, is the cape. You can also start drawing in a couple other just basic place holders for say, for a couple of the clouds. And Superman's up in the sky you know, flying like a bird except he's not. So you can also kind of draw these in there to give yourselves an idea before you move on to fleshing out Superman more.
