"Hi, my name's Joe, and we're going to talk about how to chalk a pool cue. Chalk comes in many colors. You have; this is blue, you have green, you have tan, you have red. A lot of it depends on what color your pool table is covered in, and if you had a beige cloth on your table you might want to use beige chalk because it won't show the marks up on your table as much. Now, as far as applying it to your stick; what you want to do is hold the chalk in your right or left hand, depending on left or right handed, and you want to brush the chalk across the tip. Now, you can also hold the stick and place the chalk on the stick, and just kind of make a rotating circular motion. When you finish you should have an even coat of chalk on your stick. You don't want to have any chunks or anything of this nature where it's real thick or whatnot. If you do you just want to kind of give it a blow and and knock it off. And that's pretty much how to chalk a pool cue tip."
