"Hello, my name is Athena Reich and I'm an actress and acting coach here in New York City. In this clip I'm going to talk about how to become a famous actor. So you want to famous, huh? Well, its a little harder than you might think. First of all you've got to get serious about acting. You've got to go to lessons, you've got to go to auditions, all that kind of stuff. But if you want to just get your name out there, hey why not? Go on YouTube.com and make videos of yourself, you might be discovered. You've got to be dedicated and serious but also be realistic. Know that your successful even if you don't become famous. Maybe being successful is getting a job in a theater once a year. Maybe being successful is having thousands of hits on your YouTube TV web series that you create with your friends. Try and redefine success a little bit because there's a lot that is out of your control. All that you can control is that you are in-shape as an actor, that means that you go to classes, that you're professional at your auditions, that you do, spend time promoting yourself. If you do those things, you are successful. And the rest is beyond your control. Good luck to you, don't give up. This has been Athena Reich in New York City."
