"Hello, my name is Athena Reich, and I'm an actress and acting coach, here in New York City. In this clip, I'm going to talk about how to become an actor, so you think you've got what it takes, to be on Broadway? How do you get there? What are the steps? Well, first things first. You've got to take an acting class. You've got to get an acting coach. You've got to work at it. It's harder than it seems. Also, you've got to get professional headshots. You've got to get a resume made. You can start trying to get an agent, by going to backstage.com, and the Ross Reports, and Google Ross Reports, and you can find a list of agents, if you subscribe to the Ross Reports. You need to be going to auditions. If you check backstage.com, you can find auditions that meet your character type, and you've got to persevere, so becoming an actor takes, you've got to go to classes. You've got to go to auditions, try and find an agent. You've got to think about your clothes, how you look. What image, what character type are you going for? This has been Athena Reich, in New York City."
