Video Transcript

"Hello, my name is Athena Reich and I'm an actress and acting coach here in New York City. In this clip, I'm going to talk about how to become a teenage actress. Well, I'm an acting coach and this is Alena, one of my acting students, and she's interesting in becoming a professional actress, so she comes to me regularly for lessons. And, we do...we work on monologues, we work on scenes together, and I advise her on what kind of agent is a legitimate agent, what isn't a legitimate agent. She also takes group acting classes. Are you old enough that you can do yourself, because this has to be a family effort. They're going to be helping you, because sometimes you're going to be working long hours on a shoot, and they're going to have to pick you up. So talk to your parents, get a coach, and stay dedicated. This is Athena Reich from New York City, with Alena."
