"Hi, I'm Laura from youngwritersworkshops.com. I'm going to talk about how to write a good CV or curriculum vitae. One of the most important things about writing a good CV is making sure it's thorough. You want to include all of your experiences that help to tell a story that an employer or institution that's looking to hire you. You want to answer all of their questions upfront. You're going to include sections where you have any publications you've, any work you've had published, any presentations you've given. Be sure to include all of these details. And, you'll want to compile that list before you begin the process of writing your CV. Include an objective up towards the top near where you're going to include all of your contact information. You'll want to also include an academic objective so that it's really clear that you know what you're looking for and you can express that. You're going to include a section on your education. List all institutions where you've studied and what the degree programs were. It's usually the common format is to list the name of the institution, the city and state and list the dates while you were there and what your course of study was. You may also include related work experience. Any work that you did while you were at that institution, you should include it with that information so that all of it's together. So, to sum it up include an objective about what you're hoping to accomplish. Include academic information about where you studied and what you did while at these various institutions. Include a thorough list of presentations that you've made including name of the conference, date and name of what the presentation was. And, also include any publications. Those are some ideas about how to write a good CV."
