"Hi, I'm Laura from youngwritersworkshops.com and I'm going to talk about how to write birthday thank you notes. If you receive a birthday gift from someone, it's likely that they attended your birthday party; so and if so, I think you should begin your thank you note by thanking them for attending your party. There really is a nice way to indicate that their presence was as much of a gift to you, as the gift that they gave you. So begin by acknowledging and thanking them for their presence at your event and then thank them for the specific item that they've given you and mention a little bit about how you intend to use it or how you are using it, what you thought of it and how much you like it. Sum up by thanking them again for attending and for their friendship and then close with a closing such as; your friend or love, a comma and your name. So to sum up, include a little bit about how you, how much you appreciate their presence at the event, what you thought of the gift and thank them for their friendship. Close with a closing statement such as; sincerely, or your friend, a comma and then your name. And that's how you write a birthday thank you note."
