"Hi I'm Laura from youngwritersworkshops.com, and I'm going to talk about how to write an interesting letter. I think the core of an interesting letter is to share something, an anecdote or an experience that is unexpected, and it doesn't have to be something really exciting, like a trip, or a, you know, something really earth shattering. I can be just a little anecdotes that, something that's happened, that's personal, including something like that really makes your letter more interesting to read. I also think that asking someone else about their experiences can open up a dialog. So include in your letter a reflection back to the other person of something where you ask their opinion or their experiences about whatever it is that you're writing about. Be sure to also close with a request foe them to reply to your letter, and use a standard conclusion like, "sincerely", or "your friend", comma and your name, and that's how to write an interesting letter."
