"You've got a raise. How do you thank your boss? I'm Gloria Campbell, President of Advantage Training Systems in St Petersburg, Florida. Congratulations! You've got a raise. Now how do you thank your boss for that raise? A tight line there. You might want to consider a card, a thank you card. Thanking him for the raise and the opportunity to be part of his team. You may also may, in that little card or note. Remind him again of what a great employee you are. And that you're committed to helping him get to the next level. Or do what he needs to do. That he can always count on you. I would caution you about gifts, especially expensive gifts. Things that are probably neutral or safe, a card. Maybe a gift card to his favorite restaurant. Even taking your boss out to lunch, maybe considered a little over the line. So I know you're glad, you deserve the raise. You're a great employee. A thank you card or note, thanking him for what he did for you. And reminding him of what a great employee you are. And that you're on his team. It's probably the best way to communicate it. And continue to do a great job. I'm Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in St Petersburg, Florida. A simple card and a note is probably the best way to thank your boss for that raise."
