"You've been called to give a demonstration. How do you make it great? I'm Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida. Giving a great presentation is one of those things that we're going to all be called to do at some point. So begin by, number one, researching your topic. Make sure that you have information available to you. If it is the type of thing where you can use props, or you can include other people in your presentation, that's a great way to help make it effective. Because once people are involved, they're listening to what you're saying, they're seeing a demonstration, they're much more likely to remember things that you're saying. If you have several key points, and I recommend that there probably should be no more than two or three, that you want to make sure that when people leave that demonstration, that they remember. Make sure you repeat those, at the beginning, probably in the middle, and also summarize it at the end. Giving great presentations is easy. It requires planning. If you can use demonstration, if you can use your audience, and make sure that you summarize, that's really the key. I'm Gloria Campbell, with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida. Remember to always summarize the key points, beginning, the middle, and the end, and you'll give a great presentation."
