"I know it's hard sometime to realize that there are back stabbers at work. I'm Gloria Campbell. I'm with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida, and I want to give you some tips and techniques on how to deal with back stabbing colleagues. You might have....that colleague might be your boss. It might be a fellow co-worker. And how you deal with them will help determine how long you're at that job, and how far you may progress on that job. Always remember, there are always going to be people who are trying to make themselves look good at your expense. And you want to make sure that you've protected your back as much as possible. Know how people feel about you. Always stay connected to that grape-vine. Make sure that you are friends with people who are below you and who are above you. One of the things that....that happened with the Water Gate affair was that it was a janitor that busted this whole thing open. Sometimes people that we consider insignificant have the most information. So don't forget about people below you. Stay aligned, stay in the grapevine, and make sure that if someone stabs you in the back, that you let them know that you know. My name is Gloria Campbell, I'm with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida. We all have to deal with them. Just make sure that you take that knife outta your back."
