"Hi, my name is Rosario Nene Ortega, I'm a dance instructor, ballroom and tango, at the Goddess Store in Hollywood Florida. In this clip, we're going to talk about, how to pivot in ballroom dancing. To pivot means, to turn. Usually in ballroom dancing, we're going to step forward with one leg, and I'm going to stay in the same place, but I'm going to turn to the other side, this is called a pivot, so I can come this way, or I can turn myself, staying in the same place. The other kind of pivot is when you step, okay, you change all your body, you're going to move yourself all the way to the left, and you come back into this position, it's also a pivot, so pivot is a turn. I'm going to repeat, you step forward, and you change the position of your body, and come back to where you were before, this is pivoting. Pivoting in the ballroom dancing, 1,2,3,4. This is a pivot that we use in rumba and in cha cha. For you, Nene Ortega, the Goddess Store in Hollywood Florida."
