"In this clip we are going to be talking about how to find auditions for movie roles. Let's be a little realistic here. Now if you are looking to audition for major-budget films, movies, the main roles, well, that is going to be up to your agent, hoping that you have an agent if you are serious about acting and you are professional and you are union. Because those roles are very unlikely to just find on the internet for anyone to audition for. On a more realistic note, if you are looking to audition for an independent film or maybe being an extra in movies, well that is a little more attainable. Here is what you can do. You can go to certain websites on the internet such as Centra Casting, you can join Central Casting Network and they always have parts for different types of people who are going to be extras in television shows and movies, which is what you are looking for. If you are looking for more sturdy roles in independent films if you are not union, you can go on Craig's List, they have some gigs up there that you can look for auditions for, as well as different internet sites such as the ActorsPages.com, Backstage East or Backstage West depending on what side of the coast you are on. You can go to the websites or you can actually buy a Backstage West newspaper from any local 7-11 or bookstore or even specific theatre bookstores as well. And those will have auditions for you. And that is pretty much how you are going to find auditions for movies."
