"Alright, for holding your guitar comfort is key. You want to make sure you have a good upright playing posture. Sloppy posture means sloppy playing. You want to make sure you're holding the neck in a comfortable manner. Some players will put their thumb over the neck. While other will keep it pressed from behind. Now for most standard playing you want the curve of the body over your leg, over your right leg, where as a more classical player would put it over their left. But I would say that 99% of your players keep it their right. You want to keep your arm, forearm up over the body. And that's for holding the pick. It's really a matter of comfort. Pretty much this is the standard grip. But really if you're getting better results holding it like that, it's, it's not set in stone. Whatever you're comfortable with. Whatever's not going to hurt your wrist."
