"Hi I'm Les Whitley. I would like to take a few minutes right now to speak with you about buying an aerobic fitness machine. You have got to find something that meets your needs whether you are a runner or you are recovering from an injury, find something that suits your needs and that you enjoy using. If you enjoy using it chances are you are going to find ways to incorporate it into your overall daily routine and begin a successful program. Aerobic equipment can range from high end, high speed treadmills such as this one here that has an extreme elevation for those who like to walk on inclines or may be training for hill climbs or mountain climbs by stimulating overall musculature of the lower body and that vertical type position or a stair stepper combo such as this machine here that incorporates upper body as well as lower body for training. Look for things that are very well warrantied. Your wear items especially for treadmills will come in the belts and decks as there are a lot of friction that can build up. This piece right here doesn't have a deck, it is actually like a tank tread. It is a rubberized surface that minimizes the impact that your body will feel. Things like a tread mill such as this with a deck make sure it has a self lubricating system that you don't have to spend a lot of extra time keeping well maintained. Make sure it stays clean and well maintained and free from debris and dust and that it is in an area that you can use without distraction for maximal safety and comfort. Also too look for a kill switch so if you are using it and you lose your balance or for some reason need to keep it so that it is inoperable you have the option of doing so as well. The important factors again is that this is something that you are going to use frequently and incorporate as part of your overall training program but also something that will last to the level of activity that you are putting into it. I am Les Whiteley and those are some key tips in purchasing aerobic equipment."
