"So now that we have our hi hat down and our bass and snare down tight we can start adding some more accents on the snare and we can do that just by throwing more hits and I like to use a lot of off hits on the off beats on the snare like...really feel that pulse inside of you and just hit those two bass notes and then just kind of go crazy on your your right hand here or your left hand with the snare. Then the hi hat. You have got these nice interesting rhythms going on just by contradicting the bass and the snare and adding a little couple extra hits that are different syncopations than what we had written down before."
