"So now we're going to take a look at our bass rhythm. And if you take a look at our bass written down, we have 1 and, and then on the and of 3. So we have 1 and 2, 3 and 4. So it's 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 1 and 2, 3 and 4. So by hitting on the and 3, it gives it this back beat sound. This is what it would sound like if I played on 3. Alright, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1 and 2 and 3 and 4. And 1 and 2 and 3 and 4. So it sounds a little bit more square, but if you give it that oomph, you've got... So by hitting it on the offbeat, it gives it that push that really gives it that oomph."
