"Writing a thank you note after an interview is still appropriate. My name is Gloria Campbell. I'm with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida and I want to help you write the best thank you note after your interview that you can get. One of the things that you want to remember is that a thank you note will have several elements. You want to date it. So for instance here we have July 26th. You then want to make it a little bit more personal: "Dear John, Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to interview me this afternoon. I really enjoyed hearing about how much you've enjoyed working for the company and how far you've progressed in a very short period of time. I look forward to hearing from you. Gloria" It can be very short, few specific things. Normally it's done on a note pad or a note piece of stationary and you can drop it off at the receptionist's desk after your interview, which is normally what I suggest. I also suggest that it's handwritten so it looks very very personal. So, invest in some good note stationary, write out several different versions of this because you're probably going to have several different interviews, and then make sure that at the end of the interview, you hang around for a few minutes, you write this information out and just leave it with the receptionists or his secretary. Very very impressive. My name is Gloria Campbell. I'm with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida and you now know how to write a great thank you note after an interview."
