"So I bet you are wondering how in the world do I find a modeling agency? That's what I was wondering when I first got into the industry. Hi my name is Jena Hartman, owner of Promozone Live here in Florida. First and foremost we want to explain to you how to find a modeling agency. The easiest most simplest way would be through referrals and references. If you have a girlfriend, boyfriend, somebody else that has already been in the industry for a little while and they have experiencing finding these modeling agents to represent them. Now a company like mine, a modeling and talent agency we represent and do all the behind the scenes work finding the clients, doing all the hard work for you and then we go out and find individuals like yourself, models, and talent. You can come to use or sometimes we have talent scouts that go out and look for individuals that fit the criteria for our clients. You can search on line on search engines and put in key words on how to become a model or model and talent agents in your area. You want to focus on finding a good representative for you locally so you can speak with them and set up an appointment and see them one on one. Now with that they will explain all the behind the scenes, everything that needs to be done in order to get you represented with their agency. A good model and talent agency will not request any money upfront or their 20% that they do get after a job is completed but do not get fooled and make sure you ask other people for their advice, if they have worked with this company in the past, if they are creditable, and if they ask for any money upfront I would be very hesitant because they make money once you make money. So we look forward to seeing you out there in the field, do some research, make sure you are making wise choices and we look forward to seeing you. My name is Jena Hartman, owner of Promozone Live and we'll see you out there."
