on 6/19/2009 this is a great video!

the teen market is called the junior market
most teens models are between 5'6 - 5'10 depending on the agency requirements and the models look. we want to stress if you really want to be a teen model to keep trying different agencies if not accepted by the lst ones you go to see. the reason you may not have been accepted at this time is that the agency already has another model with your look. or at this time your look may not be quite what their agency is looking for. always do your homework and research the agencies you are going to visit get recommendations. good luck and have fun! most important be safe

"Have you ever aspired to be a teen model? Hi, my name is Jena Hartman, owner of PromoZone Life. And I'm here today to tell you about, how to become a teen model. First and foremost, you want to locate a local agency in your local area. To find work, you can go to local search engines, and you can put in key words, such as, teen model, modeling agencies, in XYZ, which would be your town or city. Because you want to get local work to begin right from home, so you don't have your parents traveling all over. When you're heading off to the agencies, and you make the appointment to meet with a casting agent talent scout, you want to take along a head shot and body shot, this is just a little example here, and you want to attach it to the application that they're going to have you fill out, with general information. Your parents are going to have to fill it out for you because you're under 18, so have a legal guardian fill it out for you. Now with that, the local agency will explain to you, the ways about going to get a job, and they'll make sure that they stay in touch with you, with different jobs that are going on, whether it's fashion modeling, if it's catalogs, print work. Generally, it's very basic for children under 18, and you want to make sure your parents are following up with them, with the talent agencies. Because you can do freelance, which would be, you find your own work, as well as, the talent agency would be responsible for getting you work, which after you completed an assignment, they get 20 percent. So you want to be persistent, determined, motivated, and make sure your parents are with you every step of the way. It's been so great giving you some information about, how to become a teen model, I myself started as a teen, so I want you to get on out there, and have some fun. Again, my name is Jena Hartman, owner of PromoZone Life, and I hope to see you out there."
