"Have you ever dreamed of becoming a child model? Chances are your parents have been dreaming about it for far longer than you could imagine. Hi my name is Jena Hartman owner of Promozone Live here in Florida. We are going to discuss with you today how to become a child model and how to research this. First and foremost you want to locate a local agency and I bet you are wondering how do I do that? You can open up a phone book if you don't own a computer but the easiest way would be to go on line, go to google.com, yahoo.com or even yellowpages.com and look for a local agency that deals with children 0 to 13, newborns, once they can hold their head up is the earliest stage. When you get there they are going to ask you to fill out an application and attach a head shot and body shot. Now with that you want to have a very clear image. First they are going to show you a head shot that shows this child's personality. It is not a professional photo but it is a photo that the parents took and with it it shows that he is throwing his hands up, he is having a good time, it shows a little bit of his personality and his smile is showing through. Next up we have a little example of a body shot. Now there he is just having a good time, showing a little personality so you want to definitely take photos indoors and outdoors to show different views of your child. Now upon completing your application you can also do a comp card and on there you have your measurements, your telephone number, and I would do as a parent I would do the contact information for yourself so that they can locate your child if they want to give him a gig or a promotional job. Now go on and get out there, have some fun and make sure your child has interest and has the best time of their life. Thank you. Have a good day."
