"Hi, I'm Kelli. I'm an aesthetician and make up artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics and I'm going to give you some tips on how you can remove skin blemishes. One thing that you can do is you can use a chemical peel. Either an at-home peel, or go to an aesthetician and get a higher grade. This is a peel pad that contains a blend of glycolic and lactic acids, so basically what these do is they go deeper down into many layers of the epidermis and they help to dissolve surface layers of dead skin and bring healthy skin cells to the surface. So this is going to help to lighten any blemishes on the skin and remove them. Another thing you can do, if you're talking about blemishes as in hyperpigmentation or dark areas of the skin, you can get a skin lightening gel. Something that either has hydroquinone in it or is hydroquinone-free. Hydroquinone free products usually contain azelaic acid and licorice root, which are botanical skin lightening ingredients and that can help to remove hyperpigmentation blemishes, or if you're trying to remove acne blemishes, anything with salycilic acid is really great for acne blemishes or sulfur is a really great drawing agent too. It helps to pull impurities out of the pores and get rid of blemishes. So those are some tips on how you can remove skin blemishes."
