"Hi, I'm Kelli. I'm an aesthetician and make up artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics and I'm going to give you some tips on how you can deal with oily skin. First thing that you want to make sure that you do is to keep your skin really nice and clean. Use a really good cleanser that's removing any surface dirts and oils and impurities. It's going to help to make sure that your pores aren't producing any excess oil. And you're not going to have any dirt and debris that's going to lead to a future clogging. The next thing that you can do is to make sure that you are using a really good moisturizer. A lot of people with oily skin think that they don't have to use a moisturizer, but they do. They need to use one that's more water based. So you want to make sure that it's oil-free and you can get a lot of moisturizers that have silica in it or micro sponge which are oil absorbing ingredients, but you want to make sure that you're hydrating the skin because you need to balance the oil and water ratio in the skin. What happens when your skin is oily and it produces too much oil, a lot of people like to use a lot of products that strip the skin of all it's natural oils, but what happens then is it tricks your skin into thinking that it's dry. So in turn, your skin produces more oil, so you want to make sure that you're balancing that oil and water ratio. And if you're still have problems after getting on a good cleanser and moisturizing regimen, you can use products such as salicylic acid product. That's a really good oil controlling product that also helps keep your pores really nice and clean and you definitely want to make sure that you're using some good oil absorbing matte make ups and some good finishing powder as well. And those are some tips that you can use to help to your deal with your oily skin."
