"Hi, I'm Ross Skrudland, of Lake Lessons, and we're going to be going over the Tantrum. First of all, with the Tantrum, this is going to be one of your first beginning flips move, very easy flip to do. It's just like you would do on a trampoline, so if you've done a bunch of back flips on the trampoline, it's very similar. First of all, you start out going out on your toe side edge, and once you get out to the outside of the wake, you're going to start your progressive edge in, and get a good hard cut in. Once you get to that wake, I want you to switch over your edges, start squaring off to the boat. Ride all the way up to the top of the wake, and then let that wake push you into that Tantrum. Now, it's just like you would, once you leave that wake, it's just like you would on a trampoline, throwing that Tantrum maneuver. What's really going to help, is if you get really slow rotation, bringing your knees in is going to speed up the rotation, so if you're starting to get a lot of slow rotation, tuck in those knees. It's going to speed up rotation, and help you get the Tantrum around easier. Now, it's very key not to leave early on this trick. A lot of people will come up to that wake, and just try to throw it. Let the wake throw the trick for you, so you're hard cut in, coming in and squaring off the top of the wake, is going to trip you into your Tantrum, and help you complete the maneuver, and then once you land with the Tantrum, it's very easy. Spot your landing, because when you're coming down, you can see your landing, and it helps it become a lot more consistent of a trick, and you just cushion that landing, and ride away, and that is the basics on the Tantrum."
