"Hi I'm Greg Lawrence with Lakelessons dot com. And I'm here to show you how to do a scarecrow. Now scarecrow may have a funny name but what it really is is a toe side approach to the wake, catching toe side air, and then throwing a front roll through the air, and finishing front roll with a one eighty twist. So in order to do the scarecrow, you want to first approach the wake, with a moderate progressive edge, into the wake. Turning your hips away as you reach the top of the wake with your hips forward. You will then initiate the scarecrow by throwing your body up and over into a front roll. As you get to the peak of that roll you will look over your left shoulder and that will allow your body to open up so as you come down from that roll, you'll be facing the boat in what we call switch. With your right foot forward if you are a regular rider. You want to as you are landing, push in with your legs and cut out on your heel side edge. And that is how you do a scarecrow."
