"Hi, I'm Greg Lawrence with Lakelessons.com and I'm here to tell you how to do a toeside air. Now first thing considered when doing any air is that you need to begin in control in order to remain in control through out the trick. You're never going to be able to start a trick out of control and then maintain control in the middle of the air and ride a wave. So that being said, always approach your toeside first very easily and use that edge all the way up through the top of the wave. Body position is going to be very important here. You need to have the nose pointed towards the wake in order for you to have the best balance. While on a wake board, your best balance is going to be side to side; not front to back. Therefore, you're always going to want to have the nose of your wake board pointed in the direction that you're traveling. That's going to give you the best body position. So while progressively edging in to the wave, starting out slowly and adding your edge a little bit harder as you come in to the wave, you're going to ride your edge all the way up through the top of the wake while slightly extending your knees and pulling in on the handle. Pulling in on the handle will allow you to travel with the boat instead of the boat pulling you which would result in your getting stretched out and potentially crashing. So after you have tried several small toeside wake jumps, now you're ready to aggressively attack that wake and get the full toeside wake jump."
