How to Get Old Yahoo! IM Sounds

"Yahoo Messenger has been around for a while and it has gone through a lot of different integrations. One of the things that has changed in more recent versions are the sound effects that the program uses. I am going to show you how to find the old yahoo sound effects and install them to your current version of Yahoo Messenger. If you are a Yahoo Instant Messenger user you will notice that the sounds have changed but there are still a couple on the left so follow this address that I have got in our browser bar and you can download it directly and still use those old sounds if you still like that. So go there and go ahead and save the file and you will see that it is downloading already. Go ahead and open the folder. If you are in Vista give Vista permission and go ahead and run the file. Make sure that you have an unzipping program installed and then you can just click unzip and it already knows where to go, load up Messenger again. There is Messenger and you have successfully downloaded the pack and you are ready to use the sound just like you did on earlier versions of the software."
