"William Shakespeare said, "alcohol increases the desire, but decreases the performance." How to avoid getting drunk. And this goes for men and women both, alright. So this is important. If you're going to go on a date and you decide that maybe the evening may expand into something more interesting, remember what Shakespeare said. You certainly want the desire, but you certainly don't want to have a lack in the performance department. And more importantly, nothing is more foolish than someone who drinks too much. That's why when you go to a cocktail party over the holidays, they always have hors d'oeuvres. Unfortunately it's pretty greasy, but it's there for a reason.
