"Hi, I'm Chris Bryce from superservice.com. Today let's talk about how to buy a computer monitor. Now this is going to be determined by the type of monitor you're looking for. If you're looking for the best deal, you may be open to getting a pre-owned monitor. If that's the case, some of the best places to find those are places like eBay or Craigslist. Now if you're looking to try to do something locally and don't want to mess with the Internet side of things, one of the good places to go as well, is Goodwill. Goodwill in most cities has a technology center that will allow you to purchase computer products and peripherals at a discounted price for slightly used, pre-owned monitors. Those are the places I would check for pre-owned. Now as far as new, I would check on eBay as well as your different retailers in the area to try and find the absolute best deal you can. Keep in mind though, with Internet shopping, to make sure you look at those shipping charges because monitors tend to be heavy unless you're going with a flat panel in which case you'd have cheaper shipping charges but you want to make sure that the deal you're getting on the monitor itself, isn't outweighed by the fact that the shipping is going to be a lot. So check your local stores, check online and maybe even consider pre-owned. That's the best way to buy a computer monitor."
