How to Fold a Paper Snake

"There are two ways to make a paper snake. First you can take it and just, there's one. My name is Robert Segundo and I'm going to show you how to do it a little bit better than that. So what we are going to do is we are going to take our square piece of paper on the table and as you can see I have already got it precreased to go into a kite base so take it and start off with our kite base like so. Now what we are going to do with our kite base is we are going to fold it over once again on the same side into the corner like so. Do the same thing on the other side. There we go. Now since we have already done that we are going to do it one more time, just do this right here as well and make it tight because the paper is really going to get thick and hard and it is going to be hard to fold. Don't worry too much about that. Now what we are going to do is take it and fold it over like so and we are going to take this end up here and we are going to reverse fold it up, like so. What we are going to do is reverse fold it backwards to that point like that. Now we are going to take it and reverse fold it back up one more time to where it is standing straight up and we are just going to take it and flip it over and down like so. There's your snake's head. It is pretty much formed right there and then from there you just kind of play around with the body with some reverse folds until you get some nice little waves going in your snake. Of course it always helps if you have a little bit better paper and a little bit longer paper as well. The square is not working out quite as well but you can just premodify it however you want to but basically that's it. There's your paper snake. Play around with it, have fun and enjoy."
