"Origami originally originated in China and then of course almost everything that Japan has moved from the mainland of China off into Japan. My name is Robert Segunda and today I am going to teach you how to make an origami flower. So what we are going to do is you will look down here you see I have already started off in my water bottom base and basically all you have got to do is everything is already kind of precreased so we can move through this rather quickly. What we are going to do is we are going to open this up, our leg on our water bottom base and just open it and just kind of squish it flat, it's called a squish fold, that's the actual name of it. Sort of open this one up, same thing and we are going to do the same with all of them, there we go. Now what we are going to do is we are going to take and we are going to petal fold each one of these by taking it and we are going to fold the corners over like so, fold it back up and then bring the point to the top to where it reaches this to point right here and we are just going to do it to all sides of it. Like I said everything is already precreased so you can kind of run through this rather quickly. Now that everything has been petal folded into this diamond shape what we are going to do is take and fold it back down into this diamond shape that we want here like so and do all four legs like that. There we go now this is our open end and what we are going to do is we are going to start with the bottom end to be closed in and we are just going to take and fold these corners in like so and flip it over. We are going to do all four sides, just make sure, let's see fold them all in and just kind of do this quickly. There we go, this is the last one. Now after you have all those folded in we are just going to take the petals and fold them down and that will hold those into position. Let's open it up into this side, these kind of fall out when you don't do them right, there we go and our last one here and now as you can see all we have go to do is kind of release the petals and it will open up to form your origami flower. There you have it. Play around with it, have fun, and enjoy."
